Had breakfast here today. Food was great! My little guy who never eats anything ate almost everything. I had the sweet toast. The marmalade with the ricotta all just was delicious. My husband had a skillet and loved it! They’re covid precautions are spot on and we’re very appreciative of their efforts. Highly recommend!
Delicious breakfast with skillet eggs, a lovely tomato sauce, sausage, and bread. Perfect flavor balance, and excellent coffee. The wait staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and bright. Just lovely.

This is a small restaurant with only about 20 seats, so get there early or wait 15-30 mins for a table. Very COZY atmosphere! Everything on the menu is delicious and their coffee is amazing too! Produce is fresh every morning from local farms. My sons loved their pastries too.
This place is a must! Went out of the way to have breakfast at The Fat Hen and it did not disappoint. The food is amazing, staff wonderful. The space is small and there was a wait, but well worth it, and again the staff did a fantastic job of moving people in and out without making us feel rushed. You must go!

a must try breakfast spot!! visited the fat hen twice during my trip to Seattle, and it was definitely my favorite cozy cafe I experienced while on vacation. their chai is heavenly, as well as the eggs benedict and the perfectly salted potatoes :P all of the staff members were very friendly and welcoming during our time there. i can't wait to visit again soon!
This place is what I love about traveling. I want a cozy little place that only the locals know and love. That’s exactly what I found here at The Fat Hen. Our server Rachel, was so kind and soft spoken!!! Very patient with us southerners. I will be back next year for sure! The atmosphere is to die for!!!
