We experienced The Farmhouse for the first time tonight. The rustic chicken pot pie was perfectly seasoned. The pumpkin and apple desserts where both delicious! Congrats to Chef Joel Navejas and the entire team at The Farmhouse. See you all soon.
Still riding a lunch-time high. Grazed on duck liver pate, poutine and a side salad, all excellent. Not sure it it was all made in house--the menu didn't provide the details--but the pate, served with onions, apples and micro-greens and dense toast slices, was as rich and decadent as I could stand. Serving size was all I could ask for but the bread ran out too soon. The poutine was salty, cheesy, gravy good. We enjoyed a great dinner tonight at the soft opening. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with basil aioli, goat cheese caprese with heirloom cherry tomatoes, the house burger which has to be one of the best burgers we have had and the special of homemade rabbit and pork sausage with delicata squash and beer jam demi which I have to say was amazing. I was fortunate enough to attend the Odell Woodcut dinner last night. Let me tell you the food was AMAZING! In particular, the short rib was pretty much the best thing I have ever tasted. I cannot wait to come and eat at The Farmhouse!

The food was amazing. For a soft opening I felt the staff was knowledgeable, professional and fast! Came across as tenured. The Lamb Shank dish with celery root puree was amazing! Prices are reasonable too. The ambiance was wonderful and decor unique and beautiful! This will be our stomping ground for sure as it is a bike ride away! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
