I attended therapy sessions here for many years and at first it seemed like all my therapists were quitting leaving me to wait for another available one. then I finally got an amazing therapist and it went steady for a few years. up until 2 years ago, I told my therapist I'd be in Florida visiting family so I would have to schedule an appointment for when I return. Come to find out they went ahead and scheduled me even knowing I was currently in another state which resulted in me missing that appointment ( obviously) just to... read more
I have been coming to see Mikaela Burke for over a year now, and I must say the experience has been one that was necessary. The person I was when I first started my sessions compared to the person I am today is completely different (in a positive way). Mikaela has been my guidance, motivator, encourager, and supporter. I look forward to our sessions and am truly glad to have her in my life.
I can tell you has been great but but honestly turned into a mess. Everytime I scheduled a appointment with my med dr the last two appointments he has canceled I had to reschedule! My other counselor left and I’ve been waiting almost a month to get a new one! They don’t think about the people like what if someone really needed to talk to someone I know the hotline is open but people like me like to talk face to face rather then over the phone. I know everyone is trying their best but you have all these other counselors.
I recommend it because if it wasn’t for family counseling I would’ve never talk to anybody that would help me I’m so happy that I can be seen when I need it
As a member of the Board of Directors and until July, 2018 President of the Board, I am in a position to know the breadth and depth of this agency's incredible service to so many in need. I am privileged to serve as Pastor of the First Congregational Church where the Counseling Center was birthed with just a few volunteers more than forty years ago. How far this agency has come - how much more it is positioned to grow!
A true life saver. Occasional issues with medication refills. Otherwise, well-trained staff. They can't fix you overnight. You have to be willing to do some hard, sometimes painful work on yourself. But they help guide you through every step of the way. I sure couldn't do the work they do! I am so grateful to them!!
