just off i80 - slightly upscale – Very delicious and delightful. It's hard to find restaurants just off i80 worth stopping for, especially between Iowa City and Chicago. This is definitely one! We had been traveling for 4+hours, and we were hungry. Between a shared appetizer and dinner, it was just the right amount - not too much, not too little, to head back out onto the highway. Any negative review from 2005 doesn't count. The food is wonderful and prepared by a professional chef who teaches at a local culinary school. Duc... read more

Average- nothing special Not over the top like I expected. Had my self geared up for the another Lincoln Cafe' in Mount Vernon- Not even close. Both of us had pasta which was overpriced for content. We were seated in tight area while waitress gound coffee beans behind us. The biggest disappointment was no seared scallop dish which was featured on "American Pickers" and still on their website. Nice people but lacked wow factor.

Faithful Pilot This resturaunt features fine cuisine for a small town. Although Le Clair has been growing in recent years. I have eaten there over the years as my family continues here presence in the area. I suggest reservations as it is a small facility

Best meal in town – This was the BEST meal I have had in the Quad Cities. I ordered a steak and it was prepared to perfection. Everything was very tasty. It is a small quaint river front restaurant. If you want a river view, you will need to make reservations. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a delicious dinner. They have a variety of seasonal meals to chose from. I think this is the BEST restaurant in the Quad Cities!

Charming Town Doesn't Rub Off – About as professional as a grade school play, best discribes this nightmare. On the night my wife and I dined there they were out of three of our first choices. We had to settle for what I call second choice, and in reality no choice at all. The whole place is a bricker brack of furnishings and the service lacked any charm at all. The only saving grace was that our waitress didn't charge us for most of our bar bill, I think it was an attempt to get a big tip, so we left her 30%. Skip it.
