I highly recommend Essex. They removed and rebuilt a 500 square foot two level deck for me. Brad was quick to respond to my initial inquiry. After briefly listening to my vision, he created a drawing that not only satisfied my vision, but improved on it. Mike, the project manager for Essex was both professional and personable. Our project, which we ultimately cut short, has left damage to the house and poor work that needs to be redone. We eventually asked Essex to leave as they were unwilling to fix the damage they had caused. They allowed us to deduct from the final payment for the sloppy work and future repairs, but we want to warn others to save you the stress we experienced and are still experiencing. The amount of things that went wrong with this project were all from bad management. Brad came out gave us an estimate and was very professional. We were handed off to Mike the project manager. Brad and Mike assured us they would protect our property. The first time I came home to no drop cloths I sent Mike a message, I continued weekly. I ended up buying my own.
