My first few years at the Emerson were fantastic. I loved my apartment, the location, the amenities and the staff. Recently the building underwent a management change and the old staff all left, other than the manager. The experience under the new management company has substantially changed. You have to follow up multiple times to get any response to questions or maintenance issues. The Emerson is fine for the most part, but if you consider living here beware of the parking garage. The garage is not secure and non-residents have access to all floors. I have seen numerous shady characters hanging out in the garage, and even called the police one evening about groups of teens wandering around. My vehicle was damaged in a hit and run in the garage a couple of months ago and neither the parking lot or building management were helpful.
