Love this historic hotel! We had such a wonderful visit. Fantastic location. Shops, bars, and restaurants are all walkable. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Love the wide hallways and nice presentation to the room entrances. Nice sitting areas in the lobby to read a book or have a glass of boxed wine.
Great location right downtown. Walkable to most things. Rooms were typical. Front desk service was fast and efficient.

We love the Elms, always clean, friendly and convenient.
Beautiful hotel from the outside as well as lobby area. Perfect location to visit local shoppes and restaurants plus MU campus. Unfortunately, we had plumbing issues during our stay which the hotel attendant quickly help correct the issue. Our other unfortunate issue was that our hotel room was not visited by housekeeping during our stay. Would I stay again? Not sure; especially with the issues and the cost of stay. I do have to praise the hotel lobby staff - so friendly and happy to help.
