Overall compared to other apartment complex’s friends have lived at I think this was a great choice for us. Pros were nice management and always called back ASAP, we put in requests for the maintenance guy to come out and they always did within a day. The pool is awesome and they have a nice trail leading to Signal Hill Park. I got home late all the time and always felt safe walking in. We have been home owners most of our lives and recently relocated to Virginia. We were very nervous about the idea of renting. Not anymore. This is a very nice property and friendly staff. They are super responsive for any maintenance issues. The pool is beautiful and we particularly enjoy the onsite gym. Our building is quiet and we have never had any issues here.
So I am set to move in December so I have not moved in yet, BUT I must say the professionalism and consistency that I have been getting from Linda is exceptional. I am currently on an overseas assignment, and went past to view the apartments when I came back to the states for a home leave--she was very knowledgeable of the area and the apartments, and also worked with my unique situation of not exactly knowing when I would need to move in. More concerned with minor complaints about dogs and holding wine and cheese parties than essential services that you are required to pay for. Like trash and recycling. Poor quality in buildings too. Opinion is they used cheapest contractors and supplies for the things you can't see. AC units are crowded by bushes making the units have to work harder and raising tenants electric bill. First winter months breezeway doors had air leaks and heating didn't work well
this place management is pretty terrible. They claim to be super dog friendly but don't ever really want to deal with having dogs around. Great location. Very nice place. But I rather be in a dog friendly environment even though they are putting a dog park. It will not change the situation. Hope to move soon.
I highly recommend moving into this apartment community. The grounds are clean, the apartments are new and tucked away in a nice quiet area. Everyone on the staff and maintenance go above and beyond in all aspects. The Elms is the place to live!
I love this community! It is beautifully landscaped, well lit, and situated privately off Manassas Drive. The office staff are very friendly, helpful and follow up. (like I never experience anymore, elsewhere) the apartments are beautiful, and they come immediately to take care of things. The Maintaince staff are friendly, take their time to meet all your needs, during the visit. (Don't rush you). They also offer a lot of fun planned events,ie. Parties, wine and cheese, contest, etc. Wish I could buy my unit!
