The staff was friendly, timely, and explained each process as I went through the mammography. I couldn’t feel more like I am in good hands!
I have been going to Elizabeth Wende for 11 plus years and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The first time I went the Mammogram showed a lump and not long afterwards I went into another room where Dr Murphy did more testing and found cancer. Everything was handled very quickly and professionally and everything explained to me. I just had my yearly Mammogram done yesterday and everyone was wonderful as always. If you are planning to wait for your results, expect to wait. EWBC is very upfront about the timeframe of the wait. If you are waiting a little longer than you think you should, remember they can get behind with ultrasounds, biopsies etc... If you feel as you are at a "cattle call" or apart of a "herd" well, you don't belong there. Go to a radiologist office, have your mammogram and leave. EWBC is a breast specialist office. I went for my first exam there, I was greeted and then told to go to a window, finished my check in, very friendly, brought in the back explained about how things would go. Changed and waited in a too. Full of women waiting to be done or for results. Called in back very friendly tech. Brought back out to wait for my results. Normally I have to wait for my doctor to get them. This is a change for me, so waiting is expected at a doctors office. I will wait I was told 90 minutes from start to finish. It was 80. Love this place! Great staff, wonderful waiting area and if you have the time, you can even order a massage for an additional cost while you wait for your results! Highly recommend!
