This company did an inspection of our home and didn't catch that we did not have Air conditioner system for our upstairs and only had it for downstairs. They also did not point out that there was no drains that was mandated to have in our back yard. When I contacted them to let them know of the issue they referred me to their attorney and basically told me it's not their problem. When I spoke to them on the phone they were rude and combative. The lack of an A/C unit was clearly reported on our report, page 33, furthermore, the heater was unresponsive and also recommended to have further evaluated. As for the drainage, 1.) the home inspection is not a building code violation inspection and drains were noted around the structure. 2.) It was a dry, sunny and there were no signs of past flooding or ponding issues around the property. Elite Group did not stand by their warranty package that I paid extra for. We paid for their Premier Home Inspection package so that we could be sure that we had no mold in the house before we purchased it. The inspector found something concerning under the kitchen sink, he swabbed it for a mold test and said they would send us a mold report.
