Best apple pie I've ever eaten!
I'm seriously contemplating a third trip up there from Chicago this year. My wife and I make it an annual tradition to go, but this year we had to go twice. At first we loved the pie-in-a-bag. Then it was the apple cider donuts (You won't get a better donut anywhere, period!). A couple weeks ago, I made the mistake of picking up that bacon. Now I wish I had more! This is a nice, scenic road trip to go on, especially in the fall. Take the family, take the kids, you will not be sorry!

Just wanted to give a big Thumbs Up to The Elegant Farmer!!! I have moved to Missouri but do try and visit you every time I'm back in town!! The Elegant Farmer has held a near and dear place in my heart since I was a child. So glad that you are still going strong, and will be, for many generations to come!!!! Truly an amazing place! Pies! Icecream cookies what ever you need! This place was truly a great experience
Sucks when you take your kids..get all the way up on the tractor ride to pick apples and once there (after you purchased your basket) they tell you their apple season was rough and only tiny crap apples available. The store is nice but I have been disappointed more then once by there apple picking.
