Nice place to stop if you are traveling in the area. Good selection of gourmet Wisconsin jams, honey, cheeses, and country style goods; a little pricey, but what do you expect on a country tour. Deli selection was excellent! We really stopped to pick up their Carmel Apple Pie, just because they "Beat Bobby Flay", to take to a family picnic. I would stop again if I'm in the area.
So glad we detoured off our normal route to stop at this gem of a place. Took a load home. Everything so, soooooo good!! Can't wait to go back.
My apple pie was delicious!! But I ordered a Rueben sandwich that was too done. The bread was very very dark. Hard to chew.
I grew up with Elegant Farmer, moved away and every time we are back we have to stop now my kids will grow up knowing this place as well. We love it.
The apple pies baked in brown bags may be famous (and with good reason, they're fantastic!), but have you tried the pot pies? They are out of this world!!! Perfection, truly. The shop is wonderful, with plenty of interesting and delicious items for sale... a little more expensive than most grocery stores, but the unique, handcrafted, and high-end items in a friendly setting make it worth both the extra cost and the drive! I'll definitely be back!
Sent a "gift basket" to my friends who are military and live in Idaho for the time being. They are from Wisconsin and I wanted to give them a taste of home. Apparently The Elegant Farmer was one of their favorite places to go every year, and she said the memories the food brought back were amazing. Thank you so much for getting my order sent out so quickly and it was delivered in perfect condition ��. I can't say enough good things right now!!
Love this place. There food is super yummy and love getting the Carmel apples
Oh my...the pie!!! Just had a slice of a mini "Berried Treasure" pie, and it was AMAZING. Can't wait to head out to this neck of the woods again.
Outrageous prices for small portions. Otherwise I would give 5 stars.
