If I could give a zero, I would. My friend has been living at the e’Laan for now 2 years. When he first moved here he was so pleased by the property, things were cleaned, hallways smelled so good and fresh and the staff was so professional. The spark of the property seemed to have been gone after Richard the leasing specialist left. Hallways either smells like cigarettes or weed and this is a smoke free property. I've called The E'laan home for the past two years, and from my very first tour with Richard, I knew this place was special. Richard and Kia made me feel incredibly welcome, and after looking at several studio apartments downtown, The E'laan stood out as the best by far. The studios here are surprisingly spacious and don't have that cramped feeling you often find. This place is awful. Smoke alarms go off due to ppl smoking in the building. I live on the 3rd floor and even witnessed someone getting shot and killed which I’m sure most have read on the news about. This place sucks and they keep fluffing up the reviews to make this place good but ITS SUCKS
