I lived at the edge during my senior year and planned to stay after graduation because I enjoyed the location, complex, and amenities. However, I quickly learned..you get what you pay for. The staff was not helpful when concerns arose and basically told you there's nothing they can do to help you. As a graduate, I was placed with random roommates who were three years younger than me. i enjoyed living at the edge...it is good college life experience. The only thing i do not like about the edge is the maintenance.......If you send in a request it will take them months to do anyhting about it. I have sent in a request in the being of spring semester and still nothing was done to that request
I have been living here at the edge since August of 2016. Overall I liked living at the edge simply because I like having my own bedroom, my own bathroom, and a kitchen. Honestly you get what you pay for. I lived here for a year and a half and in my opinion The Edge is the best place to live off campus in Kutztown. The amount of amenities included are far more than anywhere else. Having your own bedroom and bathroom that is also up to date is what makes The Edge better compared to other options. With a friendly staff, they are willing to do anything they can to help.
