The Eddy is a very special place. Not only is the food scrumptious, creative and locally sourced - the people make it feel like family. The Eddy is one of my favorite places in the entire world!

Looks like a very colorful and neat location on the River. Want to sample its character more in the future when the weather warms. Will be back with more family!

First time back since I first visited in August as I had my last meal as an unmarried hombre. It was fantastic last time and now that I brought my wife, I was very happy to share it's fantasticness with my wife! She agreed, it is awesome!

Me and my bud quaffed a couple and ate the local fare with wild abandon like Kerouac and the other dharma bums of yore. Cheers to a nice evening of high adventure by the river.

We stopped on a Sunday afternoon at a friend's nursery nearly an hour away. He suggested the minor side trek to Saxapahaw. We are SO pleased we did! Delightful food. The community Gospel Choir was icing on the cake for the evening's experience. We shall do our best to stop every time we are in Durham!!!!

The Eddy Pub was a great place to sit around the bar and enjoy a mimosa and red oak on a dreary Sunday afternoon. Five star food, atmosphere and bartender Eric was spot on! Can't wait to go back!
