I took a friend, originally from Baton Rouge, who now lives in Dallas, hoping we would like The DH. Seafood Gumbo served in an embarrassingly small cup, was different but lacked any substance or body. Seemed like broth with some shrimp dumped into it. Bread served with it was good and crispy. We both ordered pheasant which sounded interesting as described. Greatly disappointed! It was served in what seemed like a pile of tasteless, shredded mush. Would definitely not order that again! Sadly, reluctant to return.
Food was excellent. Best oysters we've had in town and the steak had a very unique, very good flavor.
