Not the Ritz Carlton. But if you’re looking for a Clean comfortable and affordable stay, look no further. The owners of this Inn maintain it like a home. Fast friendly service, yummy treats, and very clean rooms. If I ever travel through again I will certainly stay here.

Several years ago I lived on Long Island however after my divorce I left the island and moved back to CT. I decided it was time for me to visit the island again and I’ve always loved the North Shore. After looking into places to stay in the area I decided to give The Shorewood Inn a try despite some of the negative reviews. This quaint little Inn was perfect for my visit back. Small bedroom with TINY bathroom. You can barely move in it. Everything was dirty, dusty, scuffed, chipped, and/or falling apart. The furniture looked like they picked it out of a dumpster. Bedding and towels awful. Slept on top with my own blanket I luckily had. I woke up the next morning with intense and lasting asthma symptoms. It’s impossible to believe how high of a rating this place has on some sites. We way overpaid for the quality of the stay. Misleading photos.
