The burger is phenomenal - maybe the best burger I’ve had in Maryland. The Typhoon fries are an … experience, likely my palette just wasn’t prepared for the taste and aroma of bonito, but it wasn’t bad, just unexpected - glad I tried but wouldn’t try again. The lumpia was a bit underwhelming. The chicken sandwich had great flavors but textures weren’t hitting my spots. Overall, I appreciate that the food isn’t boring. Get the burger and have fun trying the other stuff.
The manager Anna was super amazing in making my birthday special. Staff were amazing and the food made it top tier! I will definitely be back and recommend this place to others.
My friends and I had a horrible experience at another restaurant so we came to the Duchess. The customer service was beyond amazing. Ana- the manager accommodated our party of 8 with no reservation. She was calm and asked if we wanted to sit at the bar until a table was ready. She gave us an estimated wait time. Chloe our server was patient, friendly and knowledgable. My favorite place to take visitors or a spontaneous date night. The price point for the detail and thoughtfulness of the food is unparalleled. They also have some of the best non-alcoholic beverages in Baltimore.
