The best fried chicken and mashed potatoes & gravy I think I've ever had!
Cute, quirky place. Anyplace that has John Lennon on the wall is alright in my book. I was looking forward to the pimento cheese burger, but it had been changed to a burger with Swiss or cheddar. Sigh. I'm not a big fan of fried chicken, but theirs was good for being chicken. Their mashed potatoes were some of the best I've had, and my MIL makes a doggone mean mash, I gotta say. This was our first time eating here, & it was great!!!! We had a very enjoyable experience!!!! Great food, great atmosphere!!!!! Will be returning soon!!!!
While the flavor was there, they used a very small chicken. I felt more than a bit cheated by the tiny chicken amount of chicken for the cost of the whole bird. Paying $18 for this was practically highway robbery.
It is consistent and closer than Okarche and we get in and get out! Chicken great as is the broccoli salad!!!
