Ever since they hired Natalie (the manager) the Drake apartments have gone downhill. Maintenance doesn’t exist anymore and the front office is lazy and unresponsive except for Abby. I’ve lived here for 2 years with no problems but with the new management, there’s now bugs, rats, cockroaches, and trash everywhere. For the amount I am paying monthly for these apartments they sure know how to treat you terribly and unprofessionally. Highly do not recommend this apartment complex!
I recently stopped by to check out the apartments, and I instantly fell in love with the community and the welcoming atmosphere. Leasing staff was very knowledgeable!!! While I was there, I had the chance to meet part of the maintenance team—they were friendly, professional, and even assured me that residents are always well taken care of, if any concerns arise. This place is despicable. Lived here for 1 year, up until January of 2024. Had my motorcycle attempted to be stolen 3 times costing me hundreds of dollars to replace the ignition which was completely drilled out, tool box broken into on my truck 1 time, and my apartment flooded. Apartments flooding is a systemic issue. The fire suppression system on the porches is not insulated so when it freezes the pipe bursts in the wall. This place blows.. I lived here for about 2 years. Worst experience living here. Constant maintenance issues, building smelled like shit, no parking, homeless folks sleeping on the benches and around vehicles.. the list goes on. For the amount of money you’d spend to live here, definitely look elsewhere. All went to shit once new management took over.
