I recently hosted an event at this beautiful center , and while the space itself was wonderful, my experience was significantly marred by the unprofessional behavior of the manager, Lorna. During the event, she approached us in an extremely rude manner, raising her voice and blaming us for not cleaning up in the middle of the event. Instead of offering assistance or asking if we needed any tools to make the process easier, she chose to speak to us disrespectfully. We booked the Drake Centre for our winter event and had a fabulous time working with them. Lorna was incredibly accommodating throughout the process and worked with us early on to make sure everything was set up well in advance for our organization's specific needs. She let us know about deadlines, communicated clearly, and was there the day of to support our event. We would absolutely book through the Drake Centre again in the future due to our fantastic experience with Lorna and the Centre for our event of 200+ people.
