A true place of reflection and appreciation whether it be in connecting with others and meeting new friends, or solitarily with a good cup of coffee.
This is hands down one of the best open mics in Metro Detroit. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The people are friendly and familiar. The crowd is a comfortable mix of all ages and the place is usually pretty packed by 8PM start up. The music and poetry are often excellent, sometimes amusing and always entertaining in some way. This place rules. The owner is awesome. The open mic nights (sunday and tuesday) are always a good time. all the baristas are awesome at their jobs and they are usually up for a good convo! stop in and get some coffee!
Great place with Friends, food and service! Definitely the best nights to go are on Open Mic Nights!
The Dovetail is a good place to connect with people in the community. Can't really do that at Starbucks.
