If i could give Dog Stop in Upper St. Clair zero stars I would. I made a grooming appointment one month ago. I took the day off work. I received an appointment reminder via text messaging yesterday. I medicated my dog 30 min before the appointment as he has much anxiety when it comes to getting groomed. I arrive at my designated appointment time & told the lady at the desk my dog’s name. I have waited a while to write this review. I took my dog to The Dog Stop from the time she was 4 months old until she was just over a year. She is a highly energetic golden retriever and always seemed happy to go. The cracks in the armor started showing when she increasingly spent more and more time in “time out” - sometimes immediately upon our arrival. I was once told that her energy was too much for the room she was in, which is a very odd comment for a place touted as a daycare. I also started noticing way too many dogs... read more
