RecommendedMy fiancé and I have been taking our almost 5-month-old golden doodle to The Puppy Den for the introductory “All Star” class for the past few Tuesdays and she graduates next week! The instructors offer great advice for new fur-parents and social hour on Saturdays is a MUST for the little ones! Haven’t tried the day care yet, but we will be signing up for the next class when our pooch levels up!!
We took our youngest dog, Goose, to the Puppy Den for puppy socialization on Saturdays, and for puppy kindergarten and daycare. We can’t recommend Puppy Den and Dog Den enough! Our boys have so much fun, and they’ve really helped us be the best dog parents we can be!

i was anxious to get my puppy into a socilization class but it turned into a nightmare. Letting the larger puppies run hog wild is not the environment my smaller puppy should be anywhere near. Smaller puppies need an environment where they slowly and safely intermingle with other puppies. She got trampled by the rambunctious larger puppies and I couldn’t let her stay on the floor for any amount of time. We left early because she was acting so traumatized. The Puppy Den is quite possibly my favorite place in Madison! From daycare to training classes I know we are getting amazing service. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and are always happy to greet me when I arrive. I am looking forward to graduating to the Dog Den soon but will really miss the Puppy Den when I do.
Awesome! I will be coming here more often. Colton made tons of friends and was so tired afterwards. He’s mostly in the house with me running around all day but now he has a place to go to play with other dogs!
Highly knowledgeable and well-trained staff who express genuine care and concern for your pup and helping them be an excellent family member. Many of the training and daycare personnel are certified professional trainers (CPDT-KA), and it shows! Great range of classes and the Puppy Social hour is so much fun. I love that this place is focused on puppies - they can be so challenging, especially for first-timers, and there just isn't anywhere else in Madison who specializes in Puppy like The Puppy Den.
