They billed my medical insurance as an out-of-network provider for an oral exam despite being an in-network dental provider and the exam being a covered dental procedure. They refused to re-bill my dental insurance and tried to leave me to pay the $250+ bill
Dr Montez is just the best! (Through out the work being done I saw him at this location as well as the Edina location) He explained everything to me step by step. I had very clear expectations and everything went exactly as I was told it would. I also had two teeth extracted both were at the gum line so I expected to be in a lot of pain the next day and requested pain medication. took my son here for consultation because it was said that insurance cover it. I also had image done on myself at other dentist place and insurance normally covers it. I got a bill from this place couple months later because apparently their image is something insurance doesn't cover. getting charged for telling me something i already know... i would not recommend coming here unless you want to get charge for something you normally wouldn't.
Estimates for services are wildly off. They say they reach out to your insurance to get the estimate of what will be covered, but after having my surgery and paying what I was told was the patient portion, I received another bill 6 months later. My procedure cost did not change from the estimate, but they clearly did not talk to my insurance or are just incompetent as they calculated their coverage totally wrong causing me a second bill 6 months later for over 100% of what I originally paid. Received a root canal here several weeks ago, and it was so painless I thought they were joking that they actually did the procedure. The staff was all so friendly and kind. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs dental care.
