This is a sweet little respite. We enjoyed the quite, winding road through the arboretum, the Japanese Garden, the many walking trails, the lookout tower and the hedge lettering. When we visit Ohio again we will for sure have this place on our list of places to go.
I run here 2-3 times a week. Not only is it a challenging run but the beauty and peacefulness help deal with life's stresses. Will continue to run and walk here until my body says no more!
Will definitely go again. Loved it. Next time I have a ride I can't wait to see the parts we didn't get to. Plan on going again at the end of the summer.
It's not the first and wouldn't bethe last time me visiting Dawes Auboretum, even it is a long way from Germany.
So wonderful that Dawes offers such natural beauty and their educational programs have benefited children (and adults!) for many many years. I remember visiting here from grade school days at Jacksontown Elementary in the '50's and try to at least drive through on visits back to Ohio! Keep up the great work!
Fun family time!!! Great way to get out and enjoy mother nature. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely return again!
