Our apartment building hired Davey Tree Service to remove an ailing Garry Oak. The contract included: "Buck and leave wood in ?rewood lengths (14" rounds) stacked near the stump." The wood left behind was in much longer lengths and, rather than being stacked, was left ajumble - in the neighbour's garden, on the apartment building driveway. Representative stopped to give a quote on proposed work. Agreed to price and several weeks later received a call the crew would be out. When crew arrived spoke with leader and found my expectations matched his instructions. Crew went to work, completed project with no issues, asked if I was satisfied. Only request was to prune one additional limb which they took care of promptly. Crew cleaned up work site. Very satisfied with the work done.

They came to my home and chopped a Ficus tree which my family humbly gave ma as a house warming gift and chopped up another tree for no reason As I get older I appreciate that tree it remind me of my family I got the tree in a 4 inch pot now it was about 5 feet LOCATED IN MY PROPERTY They had no business in coming to my property and chopping down my tree I been nurturing that plant for 12 years Consumers need to be aware of DAVEY TREE

To begin with, we were thankful they wore masks when doing the initial meet and estimate. We had them remove 4 trees and the debris. The position of 3 of the trees were in our tight backyard and they worked around it with ease. They were professional and efficient and they cleaned up the area well. We would highly recommend them.

The workers are disrespectful! - I have on several occassions found these men in my yard walking around as if they live here. No knock on the door to let you know they are around. Today, after a month of evacuation - post fire - and many days/weeks of listening to trees being cut down - I find a disabled "chipper" attached to a truck - in front of my kitchen window. I do not recommend Davey Tree. Although I thought there previous work for me was somewhat overpriced, I respected there reputation, responsiveness & honesty. That’s all changed. I paid them thousands of dollars to trim multiple large oak trees, resulting in several problems. They tore up the lawn with their equipment. After a few phone calls, they did finally come back & repair the damage. Some trees were not properly trimmed. I have had an extremely inappropriate experience with the Davey Resource Group representative who came as a sub contractor to ComEd after a tornado hit my backyard, felling a large tree, which flew up on my garage and is lodged in the electric wires in the alley. Alex "S"--who refused to give his full name came to assess the situation on as a subcontractor for Comed. He was as offensive as I have ever experienced in a professional. Davey Tree Company does a nice job with tree removal and they did a nice job with an injection for one of our large oaks, but thats the extent of my positive comments. For three years we have used Davey tree company for our full service needs which include tree feeding, treatment of shrubs, and lawn fertilization. Every year we go through the lawn treatment process with them, only to have a lawn invaded with crabgrass, and now red thread and moss, and we seem to be the only home in our subdivision that has this problem. The DAVEY TREE EXPERT COMPANY located in Plymouth, MN on Fernbrook Lane, recently treated our two large Ash trees for Emerald *** B**** and also did extensive pruning of these two trees and another very large tree on our property. Brandon, Bill and Nathan worked for three hours and did an excellent job of not only cleaning all the dead limbs off the trees but also cleaning them off our yard and driveway and grinding them up.
