Davey Tree of ******** came and cut my neighbors large tree. After cutting the large tree, they advised me that they would temporarily place the large log on the ************ in front of my residence and it will be removed today. Well after they completed, they left without removing the logs. I called the main office in Wheeling, ** and they said they will not remove it until next week because they do not have the time until then. Davey tree is supposed to notify me before they enter on my private property. This is the third time in a row I have not received any notification and they're on my property!!! Again, this is private property!!!!! I'm putting a lock on ******** so you have to notify me to unlock it for you. North county Davy tree does not follow through on what they say they're going to do. Very Expensive tree removal. I had to clean up after their crew and their garbage. Made a mess. Used them 2 years ago and much better service. Never again!!!

They damaged my gutter from a job nextdoor and refused to admit they hit it. after cutting down a huge oak tree nextdoor that party hangs over my house. My gutter just mysteriously got damaged. ??.

BBB should change their letter grade on this company since customers only give it a rating of 2.37 out of 5.0 today. It has constantly been a 2 star rating.This company wrote an open ended bid that was to be totally insurance coverage since my insurance hired them for my claim. I objected to a $9720.00 bid, it was vague and written poorly. They billed me instead, including fraudulent charges not authorized on the bid and not proven by my Ring Camera and insurance inspector.$540/hour is their rate on my ****. @Pa T The utility side of Davey gets a *** rap. They are hired by the utility to clear only the powerlines they will remove and chip debris from normal line clearance maintenance. However, when trees fail and fall onto the utilities or there is storm damage, or a failed tree is not affecting the powerlines it's the homeowner's responsibility to take care of the cleanup of their tree

Horrible job! I took pictures of how they left my property after trimming my tree as a contractor for DTE. Trimmings up and down my street, driveway full of trimmings and they left tree logs in my ditch! They did no clean up at all. I filed a complaint with DTE and called their main office.

We have been clients of Davey Treefor many years. We have been extremely satisfied with the services we have received.Most recently, we had 5 trees in our yard pruned. The crew did an excellent job and were very thorough. They even noticed a potential problem with one of our maples. They cleaned everything up and hauled all the debris. We have a beautiful River Birch in our front yard, and they trimmed it perfectly. We also worked with JR on a difficult flooding situation in our back yard. This company will rip you off. Signed an **** contract for a treatment plan. Only for them to claim that the cost was PER TREATMENT... Meaning to have our trees treated would have been upwards of ****. Mind you, we had 4 moderately-sized crape myrtles and a handful of saplings.There are far more transparent companies with much better customer *************************** your money and go elsewhere.
