This company was contracted by the City of Austin to trim back a beautiful old magnolia in my front yard in anticipation of another company coming out to do a root invigoration and some minor pruning of dead branches. I woke up the other morning to multiple limbs ripped out all the way to the trunk, almost half of the tree just cut out in a sad, awkward looking chunk. I have used Davey for over 20 years with great success. I’ve been told everything from “not to do anything to a tree and give it time” to “ it’s time for a tree to go”. This weekend we found a tree that had hollowed out and cracked in the trunk. It was about 55’ tall so tricky to cut down. Davey sent a seasoned crew who quickly cut it down on Monday then carefully cleaned up after themselves and even hammered in some loose fence boards. I’ll always call Davey. Thanks
