excellent!!! This is a little pricey, but totally worth the money. Plan to spend all day there, and bring a camera. I love that the fish, but the birds were my kids favorite. It was so interesting and fun.
Fuller family Had an absolutely wonderful time with my 2 kids and husband!! We thouroughly enjoyed the animals and even the food in the cafe!! I highly recommend to any family looking for a day activity!
Great Learning Experience This was the most interesting aquarium I have been to in a while. When you go call ahead and find out when feeding times are to make your experience even better. Trust me it you will enjoy it.
Okay time nothing too special I took my nieces and nephews here and I had been here with them before and loved it, but it seems like they have not added or changed anything. I wished they could add more information about the types of fishes and maybe have some hands on activities for the kids to enjoy. Over all I had a good time.
Large Aquarium The Aquarium has a collection of about 6,000 animals, including salt and freshwater fish, reptiles, and more. They offer special events and attractions for guests each day. Throughout the week except Monday, you can watch talks on different topics of aquatic life, and see animal feedings. There is also a small viewing area in the Aquarium's research area, where they conduct ongoing conservation and research projects, including a breeding lab for rare and endangered species.
World Aquarium We visited the Dallas World Aquarium after being very disappointed by the one at Fair Park. This is a nice Aquarium - but a bit small I think and quite expensive for what you get to see. The highlights for us was the tunnel that you see fish all around you and also the penguins from cape Town South Africa are a big hit for us - brings back a bit of home! There is a restaurant to eat in which I hear is good but we have not yet done that. I think it is a nice place to go visit if you have not been to an Aquarium... read more
Good Aquarium for the Family The Dallas Aquarium has always been a favorite of mine--there's so much to see and it is very well laid out. You can walk through a 22,000-gallon (83,280 l) tunnel to experience what it's like to live in the reef. There are ten 2,000-gallon tanks that display marine life from Palau, Southern Australia, Lord Howe Island, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Bahamas, British Columbia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Japan. Admission is $15.95 for adults and $ 8.95 for kids, 12 and under. The only major drawback is that... read more
Expensive but fun My friends and I are more the mall crowd than the museum type, but we love to catch the train downtown on the weekend and hang out at Dallas World Aquarium. There are so many different types of animals, and you can get up close to them. I love the tunnels and port holes where you can sit and almost touch the fish. The penguins here are totally cute, too. Be sure to come around feeding time as they are precious then.
Lovely Zoo This zoo is awesome. It is very easy to get to. The children's zoo is so amazing. The little one will love it. The parking deck is the biggest building in Texas, that is kind of neat. The animal look amazing. They have a ton, they also let you watch them do the feeding at certain times during the day. That is awesome to see.
