The adventure at The Dallas World Aquarium begins at the top of the rainforest exhibit, where exotic birds, such as Cocks-of-the-rock and many species of toucans, can be seen. Lounging around are Two-toed and Three-toed sloths. Endangered animals, such as Orinoco crocodiles, Giant river otters, Antillean manatees and several species of monkeys are part of the many conservation projects. The aquarium portion displays interesting marine life, including Japanese crabs, jellyfish, Leafy, Weedy and Ribbon seadragons. Black-footed... read more

Awesome The Dallas World Aquarium is one of the better aquariums I have been to. They have tons of tanks with fish from all over the world. The have a great tank that has electric eels in it with a meter to show electricity. They have a penguin area where you can watch them swim and then see them on land. The admission is average for a family of four and it is worth it because you can make a day out of the aquarium.
Show the kids unprocessed fishsticks If your kids are old enough to like staring at a smaller aquarium, let them see two story high aquariums. Easy access to get to, but a touch on high price. PROS: location CONS: price
More than Fish When the Dallas World Aquarium opened in downtown, I thought it would be a waste of my time. Since Dallas already had an excellent aquarium, I figured there was little need for this facility. I was wrong. The Dallas World Aquarium is so much more than fish. There are plenty of fish, however. With more than 85,000 gallons of saltwater filled with everything from jellyfish to sharks, there's an impressive amount of animals swimming around. But if fish aren't your thing, you can climb through a lush rainforest to... read more
Ok This place is a really neat place to go. I love going here and just seeing all of the different types of animals that live in the water. They have so many massive tanks that house so many different fish. If you want some thing to do that is different from other things then this is the place that i suggest that you go. I know that some of the fish were bigger then my kid. I think it was a pretty cool experiance plus the people here are just so nice also. This place is deffinatly worth the money.
A Place to go This place is kind of pricey but is so worth it. I have a little boy who is almost 3 years old and he loved this place. He just loved looking at all the animals and fish. He couldnt stop talking about how much fun he had and that he wanted to go and see the BIG ALIGATOR again
You forget you are indoors in down town Dallas! Great educational and fun place to visit. The rainforest room is my favorite! I could stay in there all day! Only a few of the animals are caged, the others fly around, climb the trees, and hop right up to you.
Wonderful place to see the sea. This is a very nice place to go see the marine life. They have a vast collection of sea animals to view. The colors of the many fish are very beautiful. This is a nice place to take the entire family. The kids will love looking into a world they rarely see.
unhappy i was disappointed in many areas. there are many things mentioned that i did not see. yes the rain forest experience was nice, but the admission was not worth it. I was expecting to see more for what i paid, and the gift shop was really over priced. i dont think it should be called an aquarium, its more of a small inside zoo. I will not return and nor will i recommend it to anyone.
Neat place Great place to take a date or family. The kids love it and it is very beautiful and fun if you need a unique date experience too. It is very relaxing to watch and neat to see animals you might not ever see in the wild!
