well written articles, timely coverage of events on campus and in the community. Have heard it said by townspeople that it is the best source of local news period.
Journalism on college campuses died some time ago. The Daily Tar Heel is a sad example of that.
Fantastic training ground for student journalists. One of best student newspapers in the country. If you want to know what’s happening at UNC, you need to read the Daily Tar Heel.
Don't they have a spell checker or a proofreader? Wed. Feb. 5 page 4: Headline - Government loans more than is being "repayed"... basic English rules apply. Also same issue page 5 is dated Monday Feb. 5. And forget the name "Daily Tar Heel" - it hasn't been daily for quite some time. Should be the "Occasional Tar Heel".
The Daily Tar Heel has a 4.1 star rating with 206 reviews.
The Daily Tar Heel is closed now. It will open at 9:00 a.m.
