The chefs really care about their food. Everything is wonderful. The burgers, salads, and wraps are yummy and the Diablo fries are absolutely addicting. Everything is made from scratch. The staff is awesome, too. Shout out to the big man Tony! The food and the service bring me back every week. Love this place. (Btw, the new bigger location just opened on the opposite side of the theater.)

We just happened upon The Curious Palate while visiting Santa Monica for the day and we were so glad that we did! It was a sit down restaurant, but you order your food before sitting down and the staff delivers it to your table. The owner greeted us right away and was very helpful when we were trying to decide what drinks to order. He brought us several samples of beer, cider and their kombucha, which was very refreshing! Love this place. It's tucked away next to the movie theatre but definitely worth finding. Everything is fresh, unbelievably flavorful and unique. The market veggies with mushrooms are a great side. The hamachi is delicious. The burgers and ribs - although I haven't tried them look spectacular. I've been there quite a few times and will definitely be going back.
You can't get better than this, freshest salad and tinder steak. It all comes from the farms, to table.
