I purchase a fairly large order this past week. Very simple, no decorations added- just the cupcakes and icing. Tasted good however, the presentation was horrible. Some of the cup cakes were spilling over the sides, some were cracked open as if they had air trapped inside, and about half of them, the icing was sliding off the side. Mindy, unfortunately, the photos I have of your order prior to pickup do not reflect the conditions described here. We always give every pickup the opportunity to inspect each box of cupcakes prior to departing our shop. If there is a problem at that point, we are always happy to resolve it. It sounds and looks from your photos as if the cupcakes were kept at elevated temperatures for too long, which led to the frosting becoming soft. I ordered my daughter a cupcake cake from the Cupcake Doctor in Colorado Springs, CO. The staff was very wonderful to work with. They gave me different ideas and options for the cake that would work for my budget and what I had visioned for it.
