The apartments are lovely but their exit formalities will suck every penny from your pocket. Lived ther for 2 yrs was charged unnecessary expenses. Beware before you move in. Your moved out won’t be as you think.
As an update - we negotiated for a $950 settlement (they are suing us for over $2000 to replace toilet seats, carpet and painting) - except now they want us to sign an agreement that we will pay an ADDITIONAL $2000 PER EACH OCCURRENCE if we don't delete this review and any others (see quoted clause below). NOT!!! Maybe they don't realize that this is the United States of American where freedom of speech is allowed!!! Bunch of crooks - will charge you big bucks for toilet seats and new carpeting when you leave! This apartment complex is owned by Edgewood Properties - when you move out they will threaten to sue you if you don't pay for them to replace the carpeting, toilet seats and repainting. They also add a $500/month fee if you don't renew the lease and go month-to-month. The trash bins are always overflowing and there is dog poop all over the lawns. Glad we moved out. Worst renting experience ever. The owners only try to swindle you out of more money after move out. This place is already way too pricey for the pathetic amenities they offer. Then after move out, they try to charge you for EVERYTHING. That includes toilet seats even though I was told straight out by a maintenance person that they change them after every person moves out no matter what. Since you have vacated last yr we have made some improvements to the community like adding a children's playground and increasing staff. My experience at the Crossings was awesome. No complaints! My husband and I really enjoyed living there. We would have stayed longer, but we had to move closer to our jobs. The apartment was great. Spacious with a lot of sunlight. We enjoyed the amenities. I also taught yoga at the Crossings. I loved practicing with the Crossings community! We also enjoyed the pool.
