Just a little local watering hole and grub stop located in the lakes region of New Hampshire serving the best Mexican and American favorites east of the Mississippi. Just a short walk from Weirs Beach and the public docks it's a boater and biker friendly hang out. Tasty Margaritas and other cocktails are served in 16 oz mason jars. The plates are piled with food, and no one leaves the Gringo thirsty or hungry. Come in to catch up with old friends and leave with some new ones.

We loved the local feel and the GREAT staff!! Good drinks, good prices. The tacos were the worst!! The owner does not eat them, we do! spice them up! bland.. no flavor,, its mexican! people know what they are getting when the enter. the minority that are fussy..make a seprate batch of bland protein! The owner sat there drinking with his 100K vet outside, talk to your customers!! better yet, spend some money on the bar! old, out dated and holes in the bathroom floor! Mexican food junky underwhelmed! Ordered basic chicken tacos, large chunks of Non or minimally marinated/seasoned meat. Zero flavor. Salsa closely resembled a can of stewed tomatoes with no kick or flavor. Could barely scoop it with a chip. On the plus side, Courtney was a good server and tap beer was ice cold. Definitely “Gringo” Mexican food. Mexican food should have lots of flavor and kick.

The Gringo is one of our go to spots when we visit Laconia on NASCAR race week. Great Mexican food. Friendly staff. Good Margs.

I love this place and have been going for years. However your Thursday guy bartender is rude. He hates to make your signature frozen drink. He makes a face when you ask for a black rose each and every time. This is something he has pulled on us for years. I am done with him being a bitch. The best line the other week when he was handing us our drinks was "your touching my fingers". I guess he didn't like the fact that we took them from him instead of him putting them on the table.
