About this business
History of our building dates back to 1928. It started out as a feed and storage depot in the 20's. Supplies came by boat and rail. After that business, the building has been used as a Scotty's, Motorcycle repair shop, & Flea Market. The building was then abandoned for quite a few years. Then in 1998, it was rebuilt inside out and became a restaurant called Sunset Steakhouse. The top layer of roof was blown off in 2001 and the building and restaurant was sold. June 4, 2001 The Crazy Gator was opened by Beth and Steve Robin.

RecommendedGreat service, but not impressed with the mild wing sauce. It tasted like it was just cooked in butter. I guess I was expecting mild hot sauce. The guy said it cooked off. Never heard of that. He did bring some sauce out, but really no flavor. You might want to order a different sauce. The atmosphere was nice with a view of Lake Eustis.
Enjoyed lunch with my oldest dear friend Anne. We go back 76 😮 years. Loved the outside view of the water and the breeze. Great service and food. So many memories to share.

We were visiting the area and found this place. I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing and great prices. The service was great. They have a Ms. Pac man machine. We had a wonderful time and felt like teenagers again.
