Maintenance team is great, but it sucks that the management group thinks this place is worth around the same market price as the new apartments (Canopy Apartments) which were meant to be luxury apartments while Courtsyard of Chanticleer is not. My lease renewal was an additional $300 spike Fortunately I have no rats or roaches but this place is becoming a dump, and there should be more waste areas for however many units there are here. The place is a dump. The rats, the roaches – we even had a snake! My bike was stolen off of my patio, a major leak ruined most of my furniture, which they refused to pay for. The good news is, I was able to break the lease without penalty because, I mean, obviously.
UPDATE: since it’s been long enough I can update this review. They in fact sent me to court to attempt to retrieve their estimate of what I owed for “additional cleaning” Ended up amounting to $165 which I refused to pay for obvious reasons. When I went to court THEIR lawyer refused to see my case because he knew they would not win with the judge. He told me he would speak to the property to get them to drop the case. They did not and I had to return to court a second time. Once again, their lawyer refused to take my case in... read more
