I have been coming to this salon for over 15 years, and after having moved out of Durham and tried other salons, I have to keep coming back to the Cottage. Nothing in Raleigh compares to this salon - the vibes are always very warm and welcoming, down to earth, easy to talk to and friendly owner and stylists, very professional and laid back, always perfect color and cuts after they take the time to listen and understand your hair goals. Went in for appointment with nisreen who according to the website specializes in bobs; left literally with worst haircut of my life. You know, like the point where you’re considering cutting it all off and starting again after a good cry.

First visit to The Cottage Salon. Wanted a new style and decided to try it out. Nisreen lived up to her reputation & I left feeling like a new woman! She listened to what I wanted and was very friendly. Only downside is cold water to wash your hair in on Saturdays. Guess hot water tank isn't big enough.

Sara is amazing!! Obsessed with my new look! Sara was professional and managed to give me he exact cut I wanted. She asked all the right questions and was an absolute pleasure throughout the whole experience. Cannot recommend enough!
