The food is excellent! The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing. We always feel "at home" when we visit The Shore.
RecommendedI loooove cream of crab soup and try it everywhere I go, that has it on the menu. The cottage cafe's cream of crab soup is a little watery and doesn't have a lot of crab in it. Needs work. Other than that, no complaints. The wait staff is very friendly and checks on on you often but not too often which can get annoying. If you know what I mean. The Cottage Cafe is reliably good and doesn't break the bank. BA-BA BOOEY!
We love the cottage café! Love the food, atmosphere and especially the Sunday Breakfast buffet.
Stopped in the Cottage Cafe today for the first time. And we are so glad we did. Lunch was awesome. I had the pot roast sandwich and it was delicious and a generous portion. Hubby had the Sea Witch; one bite and I think I'll get it next time as the scallops were cooked perfectly. Delicious food; welcome staff and great prices. Going to try their Sunday brunch - soon.
The prime rib was excellent! The homemade chicken noodle soup was the best I Ellen delivered it all with a smile.
I had an excellent dinner at The Cottage Cafe tonight. I have always gotten great food and service. I give them a 5 �. Ellen was our server and she was excellent and pleasant.
