RecommendedI can't recommend this place highly enough! My sister and I were in La Jolla, on a sister trip and stumbled upon this gem! There was a line out the door, but we decided to wait anyway - and it was 1000000% worth it!! We sat out on the patio, on a sunny, warm day and had not only the most incredible food, but fabulous service! Used to love this place. Ate there for lunch on Wednesday, and despite my telling the very nice waiter I had celiac disease and had to be strictly gluten free, I wound up in the ER for 4 hours due to ingesting gluten. I had even explained about cross contamination and was assured I’d be ok . PLEASE do a better job informing all your staff that eating gluten free may be a choice for some but for others it is an absolute necessity. So disappointed in you guys.
