The lamb meatballs, octopus, and cheese plate are incredible. Got two of the "Triple Threat" cocktail and loved them. Also had the dumplings, fries, corn, and chocolate torte - all delicious. Waiter Alex was awesome and attentive.
I started with the goat cheese salad, which was perfectly dressed. I ordered the steak, cooked exactly as requested, and the cream and mustard pairing was amazing. All was good until my life was changed after ordering the chocolate pudding. I am pretty sure I can never find chocolate pudding this delicious like this again. Creamy. Not overly chocolate-y. They used veranda chocolate with some sort of flavored salt that made it out of this world. A must-order!
Great service, atmosphere and the food was delicious.
I had the Wagu Stroganoff. It was delicious! The service left a little to be desired, however. Our waiter ignored us most of the evening. He never asked us if we wanted drinks, never brought us bread or asked if we needed anything. I had to flag him down to get him to take our order, we waited almost 1/2 an hour for our food and then another waiter brought the order to us. I would definitely recommend The Copper Onion for the food which we all enjoyed and hope the service would improve.
The food was good but the service was poor. We had to wait a long time to get waited on - for drinks and then for our food order. Will have to think long and hard if I think the food was worth it - but probably won't be back
The waitstaff was phenomenal. The cocktails were very good. We have the grilled octopus and it was outstanding. We also had two different pasta dishes fresh, invigorating, will be back for more.Ammie was great.
We had a great experience!! Food both quality and taste...excellent. Angie was our waitress and has an award winning smile and personality. She was very knowledgeable about the food and the menu and made excellent suggestions!! Kudos. One of the best meals ever. Can't wait to come back on our next visit to SLC.
The Copper Onion never disappoints. Dining with a depth of flavor and innovation served with helpful and friendly smiles. Stay for dessert, each guest should get their own and share, because you're going to want to taste more than one!
