From complimentary design consultation with Lolita to in-store visit and purchase of closet equipment for two reach-in closets to in-home installation of the Preston for our primary walk-in closet has a delightful experience! Jonah (installer) was thorough, very organized, professional, had solid experience and did an incredible job. What a frustrating and terrible experience! We booked an appointment, confirmed both in email and phone call. Then an email came the night before saying no appointment available at the time of our appointment; we called and the shop confirmed again the appointment is as scheduled, no change. Then no one showed up at our appointment time. We called the shop again, the shop still insisted that the appointment is on the schedule. Perhaps The Container Store operates in a parallel universe. No show, no follow-up phone call.

The clerk at register was fine but there isn’t much help available in general at this location. A visibly irritated older female employee there told me to go “find someone else” a few minutes after I waited in line near her desk. I didn’t see anyone else. Other locations like the one in San Mateo have more approachable staff who are less rude than the one I encountered.
