RecommendedI been living here for around 5 months. in my opinion it's a nice place to live it's quite. good people running it. And all my neighbors are very freandly.
My family and I lived here for years, while saving up for a home. The grounds were never well kept, christmas packages often went 'missing' from the mailroom, dog poop was all over the fenced in kids playground, overflowing/broken trash compactor, you name it. What a nightmare. Not to mention the 10% rent increase each year, and the fact that there was NEVER any parking. Love the apartment complex!!
I see it's been a while since anyone's reviewed the Column's, so I figured I'd put one up. I also noticed that quite a few of the reviews touched on how bad Broadstar was. That's gone. It's Comcast now. I know, it may seem impossible, but Comcast is a huge improvement. I consistently get 40+Mbps up and 12 or more down. They have some decent packages too. They will need to do a truck roll unless your apartment has already been converted, but they should do it for free. ...Continue Reading
I've been a tenant at Columns for 2 months and If I had the opportunity to try for a month before signing a 12 month lease I would not sign simply because of the horrendous parking situation. I get home late at night often, tired from working and have to park 400 yards from my apartment. That's 4 football fields. It's simply ridiculous. Especially in the rain and haven't even gone through winter yet. Poor poor design. They have 11 parking garages taking up space that could accommodate 25 more cars.
I don't recommend living here until their contract with Broadstar is up. Almost daily outages and their "upgrade" made it worse. I'm writing this review with my own data because the internet has been out for the day (again). I've got 5 months left and then I'm out
The apartment began growing mold only a few months after moving in. I was on the terrace level in a moldy hole. The only good review I see here is from a person who hasn't tried moving out yet. What a horrible experience. Nothing done about mold and no compassion to the renter who paid on time and was a good tenant. Maybe I should've written a good review on here while living there and I would've been treated with the same customer experience they gave me when I was moving in.
