Best Pizza Best Pizza Best Pizza In The State – Cloverleaf pizza is and has always been the best pizza around. For the young critics unfamiliar with pizza not cooked on a conveyor belt, the cloverleaf is one of only a few remaining establishments that actually cooks pizza in a pizza oven, therefore it does take from 35 to 45 minutes. If you want fast pizza, go to Domino's. Try the sausage, its real sausage not pre-cooked like 99% of fast food pizza... make that 100%. Everyone I have ever gone to the cloverleaf with that was ... read more

Worst Pizza Joint in Tacoma – Took an hour to get 2 of the 3 pizzas we ordered. The 3rd got stuck to a pan and they re-made it serving it 15 minutes later and the dough was raw. While they comped the 3rd, they should have done more. It should not take more than 45 minutes to cook any pizza and we ordered small ones that were regular orders from their menu. All might even be forgiven if the pizza was special but it was rather ordinary. I can only guess that Tacoma is starved for good pizza because this place is not all that. ... read more

The best pizza I have ever had – I had heard many times about this place & their excellent pizza. I LOVE MY PIZZA so decided to finally try it. I ordered and had it delivered. Man oh man, this stuff is good. Flavorful, lots of sauce, stringy cheese which you just can't find on pizza anymore. The crust is so different than any I have had....wonder what they do to it??? It was a fairly thin crust and was kinda chewy-crunchy. Toppings & sauce all the way to the crust & lots of toppings. 2 pieces filled me up!!! Can't say anythi... read more

Definate must try... – I grew up in Tacoma, now living in Spokane. Eating Cloverleaf pizza @ my house was the special night out food, it was the absolute best. But none of you know what it's like to be 27 now, and not close enough to get it whenever I want. Spokane has NOTHING in comparison to Cloverleaf, people who bash cloverleaf are just jealous of us with good taste. Try frisco freeze for awesome burgers out there too. Right by the hospital and washington park near downtown. miss you tacoma!

I just had to agree with the CANNED Mushrooms! – In hopes that they will change that..... I complain about that every time someone talks about Cloverleaf Pizza. Otherwise the pizza is great..... if you can wait an hour or more to get it!

Don't believe the hype – I was very disappointed with our experience. After reading these "rave reviews", my husband and I decided to order some pizza from Cloverleaf. Much to our disappointment, the pizza was tasteless and greasy. I don't see what is so special about the crust either....flat and full of grease! Not to mention, we had ordered one medium hawaiian pizza and one large pepperoni pizza.....I've never ever paid $33 dollars for pizza before. What a disappointment. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here.

Best pizza I've had – Cloverleaf has the best pizza. The crust is outstanding and customer service is great. When you go, have lots of time on your hands as making these beauties takes awhile, but well worth the wait. If I went as much as I wanted to, I would be huge.

Are you crazy? – The Cloverleaf has been the stuff of legend since I first started drinking. The wait staff is surly, somewhat rude. The place is a dank, stinky place where old timers, grease balls and the folks who play on their sponsered sports teams hang out and oogle you like you're an intruder. The pizza is inconsistent, tending toward a disgusting wad you wring the grease out of. I haven't any idea who bought this recommendation? Seriously, there is many other places in the western half of the state that serve a far be... read more

It's a Tavern people! – I think the last reviewer neglected to keep in mind what the place is called - Cloverleaf TAVERN. They don't seat you in bars, you seat yourself and the service in bars is usually not tip top. Cloverleaf is an establishment and is known for it's cheap pizza and drinks and stale popcorn while you wait for your food. The Pepperoni and Black Olive pizza is my all-time favorite. This place is great for going out with a group of friends for a couple of pitchers and a pizza or 2. Keep in mind many other peo... read more
