I’m really disappointed with my haircut. It honestly feels like the stylist didn’t know how to cut my hair or work with its texture. I pretty much hate how it turned out, and unfortunately, it’s not something that can easily be fixed. What makes it even more disappointing is that I was referred here and had high expectations because of that recommendation. I expected much more care and attention, especially when I was trusting someone based on a referral. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this experience.

I’ve been to many curly hair salons in different states in the last 20 years, and this one has been my best experience yet. I find that while many stylists can cut curly hair, when it comes to styling, I always leave eager to go redo it myself. Amanda took the time with my thick head of hair to meticulously get my curls defined and she really listened to what matters to me. No restyling at home necessary. The cut is great and exactly what I wanted. I will be back!

I’ve been coming here for probably 4–5 years now, and there’s a reason I keep coming back! I’ve also started bringing my kids, and it’s always such a welcoming, fun, comfortable experience. A huge shout-out to Aubrey Perez, the owner, who is just the best. She’s created such a warm, welcoming space, and she really understands textured hair.
