I think it is a good hotel for visitors of this town.
Large, very clean, comfortable room! BUT, the desk clerk that checked us in was EXTREMELY unfriendly, unhelpful, wanted no sort of conversation with us when we checked in - he didn't even want to make eye contact with us!! NOT one smile from him - TERRIBLE greeting!
Clean, comfortable and close to the local colleges and university. Breakfast menu was varied and delicious.
This is such a cute hotel. I️ love the Victorian style. I’ve stayed here 4 times in the past year and I️ plan on staying here each time I️ come to visit my daughter at college. The staff here are wonderful.
An elegant but relaxing ambiance—as well as proximity to all that Potsdam has to offer—awaits the guests of The Clarkson Inn. The breakfast is delightful—served on bone china. The breakfast chef is accommodating. The lobby offers delightful respite, and the front desk staff is welcoming. And best of all, the bath linens are plush, and the beds and linens lull you right to sleep. Love it here!
