⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at The Claridge Hotel in the Gatsby Room! The room had so much character and charm, with a beautiful vintage Gatsby feel that perfectly complemented the history of the hotel. What stood out most was the superb cleanliness. The room was exceptionally clean, fresh, and well maintained, which immediately made us feel comfortable and able to relax and enjoy our stay. Room was clean and check in was great..a few little things were fixed right away. The staff was amazing. The elevators were horrible and need to be updated to accommodate to handle larger guests numbers that come in. The gym needs an update and some sanitizer added to room to clean equipment after use. This was the only one available for the long weekend last minute. The location is right across the beach. There is no casino in this hotel which is why we wanted with the kids. Staff is extremely courteous and very helpful. The best is the rooftop bar here. The views are beautiful at the time fo sunset especially. Overall a great stay. Rooms are just outdated but the hotel theme is old school so works.
Do not stay here they will over charge you 68 dollar additional and 118 for security deposit that will never be returned . I wish had I read other people reviews that said the same thing . THEY OVERCHARGE YOUR CARD AND DO NOT RETURN YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT . It was about 275 for us to stay one night .
