My sister lives at the Clairmont. I love to go there and visit and see all the wonderful people who live there and work there. Joanne and her staff are outstanding. I never worry about my sister when I'm away. Would recommend anyone looking for a place for their loved one to please check this place out. It is truly been a blessing.
As a independent living community, The Clairmont is the best value in the Greater Austin area. It provides transportation, care for activities of daily living, affordable apartments, and fantastic food. One of the biggest differences that separates The Clairmont from all other independent living communities is the management. They are second to none and really care about the residents.
While we have only been at The Clairmont a short time, my father and I have been very impressed! Joanne Green and her administration staff have been first-rate professionals and extremely courteous in every respect. The service people, nurses, and personal care folks involved at the facility have been extremely caring and helpful. Love the Clairmont ! My father moved to the Clairmont six months ago after living in the same house in Florida for over 50 years. I visit the Clairmont 4-5 times a week to see my father and to visit the wonderful residents and staff. The onsite health services are a blessing, the food is perfect, and the staff is always available and pleasant to work with. The facility is a bit older, but don't be scared off ! My mother in law moved to the Clairmont last Feb. after living in her home in SA for over 50 yrs. I have to say she Loves it My wife and I are also very impressed. We are on a first name basis with all of the staff as well as many residents. We also referred a friend and he moved his dad there. He is 97 and couldn't seem happier. They are going through a kitchen remodel and Mary is a very picky eater and has not complained at all. Kudos Clairmont, Carson, and JoAnne!!!
My parents had to downsize from their large home due to my Dads declining health. They have been there for going on 2 years and have been happy, felt safe and taken care of.
