I’ve been an owner at CL for about 12 years. Love it. We like it better in June than in November which are our option weeks. We have a 3 bedroom. Great for a family.
We chose the Christie Lodge because a little suite is always handy for a family but the one bed plus fold out couch one is a bit smaller than expected. We also chose this because of the indoor pool and outdoor pools and hot tubs—Making it fun for the kiddos. It has lots of little areas for hanging out, but you can get lost easily. Loved Christie Lodge. Beautiful area! No clue who the grumpy reviewers ran into at the Lodge, but all the staff was incredibly nice to guests. Not just normal to guests, they were above normal. Liked it so much we're actually getting a timeshare at Christie Lodge. Getting it from christie-lodge-avon-co .com for free from an owner that no longer used it. Looking forward to future visits. If you love Avon you should go to Christie Lodge! Only complaint was the room was pretty hot when we got there, but that's an easy fix.
Do not buy a timeshare from here. I REPEAT do not do it. The building is in shams, we live in Denver and only saw pics...please dont go here or buy
we have been trying to contact Christie Lodge via email for 3 weeks now( we live overseas), after trying 3 different email addresses on their website and newsletter - nobody replies!!! - they take your money and run. Christie Lodge - please do the decent thing and reply to me and maybe address some of the concerns in the reviews - not just the nice reviews, but show a level of customer service and address the bad reviews too, don't just ignore. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising.
Not a good experience at all, I was falsely charged over 470.00 for a stay that I didn’t have, Adam the front desk manager has no clue how to run a legitimate business and when you bring your concerns to his attention he blows them off. I have had to file a police report and do a credit card chargeback to get our money back from the fraud this company let happen and continues to let happen. There is lots of nice things in Colorado but Christy lodge isn’t one of them, as many other people have noted, look elsewhere!

Although our one bedroom unit is fairly small...it is very nice and cozy. The resort is exceptionally unique. I would highly recommend it for one or two people...:-). Staff has been wonderful to accommodate us with whatever we need.
I booked a stay last spring and was charged for two nights. When presented to the management, they ignored my request basically saying "too bad". The building has fire code and accessibility issues. Would strongly recommend against staying there.
